Siliguri Greater Lions Eye Hospital is a non-profit, super-speciality eye hospital located at 2nd Mile, Sevoke Road, behind Vishal Cinema, Siliguri, West Bengal – 734002. It was established in the early 1980s and is run under the Greater Lions Seva Nidhi Trust in partnership with the Lions Club, with the mission to provide affordable, accessible, and high-quality eye care to people from all backgrounds in North Bengal and neighboring regions.
The hospital has grown into one of the largest eye care providers in Eastern India, offering a wide range of ophthalmic services such as cataract surgery (including phacoemulsification), retina and glaucoma care, paediatric eye care, cornea services, and general eye treatments. It also focuses on community outreach, operating numerous primary eye care centres and vision programmes to reach underserved populations.
